Gaby at this age, one can see that she’s very passionate about how she looks, she’s such a fashionista, she loves watching make up videos and anything to do about styling, it is a bit scary at times, but as parents it’s our role to help her develop this interest into something beneficial for her in the future. Whenever we go to a toy store the 1st thing she would look for are arts and crafts. Her mind is very creative!
Michu on the otherhand is very comfortable with her style, she can wear the grandest ballroom gown and pair it with her Converse shoes. Her interest is geared more on cars, airplanes & other automobiles. She would prefer to have her things decorated with “Cars movie” than “Disney princesses”. Peter really like for her to take a course in Aviation when she grows up, there’s a big possibility that she’ll go for it!
Here’s a picture of this cheerful girl this week, she doesn’t normally allow us to fix her hair, except if it’s braids!
There are 2 things that amazed me about my kids this week:
Gaby’s high tolerance to pain and her braveness. Her front tooth has been moving for the last 1 month, there were times when she’s complained about the pain, I asked her if she wants to end it by taking it out? She agreed for me to take it out without going to the dentist! She cried a bit, but was ok.
Last Thursday, Peter gave the girls AED 30 to buy some toys, I’m so happy how they budgeted their money to buy things within the amount that Peter gave them. We want the kids to learn how to live within their means, even if it will cost them to give up something that they really like because it’s not in their budget. We want them to be content and grateful for what they have.
