Just before Christmas, we got invited by a colleague in the blogging field to try out the Waiting for Santa Brunch at Liwan – Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana.

This is our 3rd time dining in this lovely restaurant this year, and in both earlier occasions we had pleasant experience, you can read our I F T A R review here. You can only imagine my excitement to go and try out the Waiting for Santa Brunch, I was giggling like a kid.

Walking out of the elevator, we were welcomed by an elegant and massive Christmas Tree, beautifully decorated along with the Ginger Bread Village at the foyer. It has really set the mode of festivities for the kids.

The food as always, has been amazing, with a wide-spread of Italian, Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines, there’s so much choices to go back to, which was one of the highlights of this brunch.

Weekends have always been family day with the kids, this was the perfect setting as we did not compromise our time with them, we didn’t only have brunch but also did some activities they truly enjoyed.

We had some ginger bread decoration with a little chef diploma from Liwan Restaurant. This was something the girls truly enjoyed, full on chef hat, suit and apron! It encouraged their artistic and creative talents to flow.

There was also an area dedicated for kids to play with bouncy castle, soft play area and movie time with popcorn.

I guess more than the food, what we enjoyed and appreciated the most was the festive ambiance that gave our family time something to cherish.

There were balloon making, Christmas carols and the wait for Santa was not very long, he came and visited our table with treats for the little Munchkins!

What an awesome time!

This was the last Friday this year for the Waiting For Santa Brunch, however Al Ghurair Rayhaan also has other Festive offerings, visit the Rotana Magical Season page to know more.
